Mitacs ICT Breakfast with Research PhDs
How to Get Canada's Top PhDs Working for You
Join Mitacs at a networking breakfast and meet 44 of Canada’s top Postdoctoral Fellows who are pursuing research in information technology, engineering and other disciplines related to ICT. This is an opportunity for Ontario companies to network with the Postdoctoral Fellows and discuss collaborative R&D projects.
Why You Should Attend
The PhDs give companies access to a highly-qualified, uniquely-trained pool of talent. They are looking to lead a major industrial research project and customize their research for your company, giving you a competitive edge and valuable R&D. The PhDs are employer-ready and have comprehensive business skills training from Mitacs including project management, presentation skills and scientific management training.
About the PhDs
The PhDs have received coveted fellowships from the Mitacs Elevate program which provides matching funding for one-to two-year funding for research projects involving a Southern Ontario company and a new PhD.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. with Earl Miller, Director of Strategic Partnerships, MaRS Discovery District, taking the stage at 8:30 a.m.
Also, be sure to take in the top research pitch from the PhD winner of the “Great Idea Pitch.”
Canada’s top research talent is waiting to meet you.
