Meet Top PhDs in Biotechnology and Connect with Industry Leading Companies Therapure Biopharma and Nucro-Technics

Join Mitacs at an exclusive networking breakfast and meet 44 of Canada’s top Postdoctoral Fellows who are pursuing research in Biotechnology and Advanced Health.  This is an opportunity for Ontario companies to talk to the Postdoctoral Fellows about collaborative R&D projects and increasing commercialization potential.

Industry Speakers

Therapure Biopharma Inc. - Dr. David Bell, Vice-President, Drug Development & Chief Scientific Officer with Therapure Biopharma will be the keynote speaker. Therapure is based in Mississauga and is the only mammalian cell contract manufacturing organization in Canada.

Nucro-Technics- Constantine Fanaras from Nucro-Technics will discuss how they have overcome the challenge of retaining staff through best practices. Nucro-Technics’ state-of-the-art 58,000 square foot facility in Scarborough employs 135 scientific and support personnel. Find out how they attract and retain top talent throughout their organization.
